First of all, and for the most clueless, we will start by introducing our number one fan. David de Jorgebetter known as "Robin Food" is a Basque chef, presenter and journalist, manager of the publishing house Gourmandia, and writer of several gastronomic books and cooking blogs.
In 2008 he began his television career with the program "Cocina sin bobadas" in which we would soon discover a different cook with an extroverted and cheeky personality. A new format that would show us a "batallera" and different cuisine. In addition, his picaresque and close character, made him give steps to new chapters and programs such as Robin Food.
I think that as a curious fact to mention and that has surprised us digging in his wikipedia profile, is to make the world's largest Russian steak. On June 18, 2011 he made the world's largest Russian steak in the Arenal promenade of the Old Town of Bilbao: 15 square meters of surface, 400 kilos of weight and a thickness of 2.5 centimeters. A total of 4,000 portions of this steak were prepared and distributed to the spectators in the area. He is also the promoter of the "guarrindongadas", an unorthodox and strange combination of ingredients (like a sandwich of nocilla with sardines) ( SEE VIDEO ).
